Question of the Day: Arab anger at Qatar attack. Real or fake?

While we hear in the media condemnation after condemnation in the Arab world of Israel's attack in Qatar, we know that many of those very condemners actually hate Hamas more than Israel.

For: The condemnations are mostly for show, as Arab regimes often secretly prefer Hamas weakened and fear Iran’s influence more than Israel’s actions.

Against: Public outrage in the Arab street is real, and ignoring it could harden regional hostility and complicate Israel’s diplomatic progress.
