Trying to escape - and eliminated from the air and the ground: this is how the three terrorists were eliminated near Jenin
In a pre-dawn operation in the Jenin area, Israeli forces eliminated two high-ranking and long-wanted terrorists hiding in a cave. Another terrorist was also killed
The first, Qais al-Bitawi, a senior Hamas operative and commander of the group’s Jenin Battalion, had led attacks alongside other Hamas field commanders, including Ashraf Naafa of Tulkarm. The second, Abdullah Jalameh, was the commander of the Islamic Jihad’s Jenin Battalion and a well-known figure in the city’s refugee camp.
According to security officials, the two were planning an imminent terror attack in the Jenin region under orders from Hamas and Islamic Jihad leadership. Israeli assessments warn that dozens of wanted terrorists have fled the refugee camps in northern Samaria to rural areas, where they continue to operate, recruit, and await opportunities to carry out further attacks.
