State Department in Persian: Iran mismanagement causing drought
Against the backdrop of the worsening water crisis in Iran, the U.S. State Department tweeted in Persian on X that "Iran is facing the most severe water crisis in the last century, and Tehran's water reservoirs have reached their historic low."
It was also written that "decades of corruption, mismanagement, and huge expenditures to support proxies, terrorism, and regional instability have brought the country to the brink of collapse, destroyed agricultural lands, and exposed millions to threat."
