US Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem tells Israel โYou are not alone,โ visits and prays at the Western Wall in Jerusalem.
Jerusalem, 25 May, 2025 (TPS-IL) -- US Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem, is on an official visit where and spoke during her visit to the Western Wall pledging, “The US stands with Israel – you are not alone!”
She also prayed at the Western Wall where she was accompanied by the US Ambassador to Israel, Mike Huckabee, and his wife, Ms. Janet Huckabee.
Noem was welcomed by the Rabbi of the Western Wall and the Holy Places, Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz, and the CEO of the Western Wall Heritage Foundation, Mr. Mordechai (Soli) Eliav, who explained to her the profound significance of the place as a spiritual, national, and historical center of the Jewish people throughout the generations.
During the visit, the rabbi and Noem read a chapter of Psalms together and a special prayer in memory of diplomats Ron Lisinski and Sarah Milgram, two employees of the Israeli Embassy in Washington, who were murdered last week, and a special prayer for the speedy return of the kidnapped to their homes.
At the end of the visit, the secretary buried a note among the stones of the Western Wall and wrote in the visitors’ book: “Israel is the chosen people, and the United States stands by you.”
