NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg is visiting South Korea and Japan, urging Seoul to alter its arms exports policy in support of Ukraine. At a speech at the Chey Institute for Advanced Studies in Seoul, Stoltenberg thanked South Korea for providing non-lethal aid to Ukraine, but stressed that for allies to prevent autocracy and tyranny from winning, the country needs weapons.

This month, the US and its allies pledged to provide main battle tanks, including the Abrams, Leopards and Challengers, to Ukraine.
