The Ministry of Water and Irrigation in the Jordanian government has unveiled a new plan to pump water from Israeli territory and transfer it to Jordan, to compensate for the growing severe shortage.

The Kingdom of Jordan is suffering from severe water shortages, in light of its accusations against both Israel and the Assad regime in reducing its allocations from the waters of the Yarmouk River in Syria, and the Tiberias Lake in Israel.
