Boris Johnson slams media for being more critical of UK’s migrant crackdown than Russia’s invasion

Boris Johnson tried to deflect attention from his own reckless leadership by lashing out the media for being “less vociferous” in their criticism of the Russian president than they were of plans to send asylum seekers to Rwanda.”

Johnson again shows how unfit he is to be prime minister. He wants no scrutiny and no questions asked. Period.

Johnson was also critical of Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby for criticizing the UK government’s plan to transfer illegal migrants to Rwanda. Welby has been using Christianity to justify open borders.

Already, some 6,000 migrants have crossed the English Channel to the UK in small boats this year, and the Johnson government has been warned that up to 65,000 illegal Muslim migrants could arrive in 2022 via the English Channel.

Boris Johnson has done nothing other than make ceaseless empty promises to fix the illegal migration problem. Now that Britons are on to his deceptive politicking and tendency to put national security and the nation’s economic well-being last, he’s attacking the media for shining a spotlight on his obvious failures.

Last year, UK protesters shouted “enough is enough” and “stop the invasion.”

The Royal Navy has now taken over “operational command of handling migrants crossing the Channel…as part of a shake-up which will see the planned transfer of asylum seekers to Rwanda.” But Brexit architect Nigel Farage criticised the logistics of the operation. He stated that the Navy’s involvement was a “waste of time and resources” and that “the vessels used are too high to take people on board so their role is limited to towing back empty dinghies.” Farage also warned that “leftie lawyers will bring early end to Rwanda immigration scheme.”

“Establishment Media More Critical of UK’s Illegal Immigration Crackdown Than Russia’s Invasion, Says Boris”, by Kurt Zindulka, Breitbart, April 20, 2022:

Boris Johnson reportedly lashed out against the BBC and the woke Archbishop of Canterbury for being more concerned about his proposed crackdown on illegal immigration than Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Fresh on the heels of offering another grovelling apology over violating his own lockdown restrictions on Tuesday, Prime Minister Boris Johnson went on the offensive during a meeting of Tory MPs targeting popular targets of right-wing disdain including the nation’s state-funded broadcaster and the left-wing Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby.

According to a report from The Telegraph, the Prime Minister accused the BBC and Welby of being “less vociferous” in their condemnation of the invasion of Ukraine than their criticisms of the government’s plan to fly illegal boat migrants to Rwanda to deter further people smuggling amid record numbers of illegals crossing the English Channel.

In his Easter Sunday address to the nation, Archbishop Justin Welby, the most senior bishop in the Church of England, said that sending illegal migrants to Rwanda to have their asylum claims processed “is the opposite of the nature of God”.

In the profoundly political sermon that was broadcast on BBC Radio 4 on Sunday, Welby said that while the details of immigration policy should be left up to politicians, he said: “The principle must stand the judgement of God and it cannot.

Defending the plan to ship illegal boat migrants to Rwanda, Home Secretary Priti Patel said in the House of Commons on Tuesday that the widespread criticism of the East African nation by the left was “deeply, deeply egregious” and “xenophobic”, noting that EU nations have previously found Rwanda a safe country to send asylum seekers to.
