On Monday, a large-scale national traffic operation came to an end in Israel, in which thousands of reports were issued for life-threatening offenses, dozens of drivers were disqualified, and dozens of vehicles were impounded and taken off the road.
On Wednesday (October 29, 2025), a large-scale national traffic operation was launched, one of many led by the Traffic Division, against life-threatening traffic violations on municipal and intercity roads, and today (Monday) it came to an end.
During the operation, hundreds of police officers and volunteers, patrolmen from the National Motorcycle Unit, the Heavy Vehicle Unit, and detectives from the Central Unit in the Division, accompanied by helicopters from the Israel Police Air Unit, were deployed to combat life-threatening traffic violations.
As part of the operation, 5,626 reports were issued for life-threatening offenses, dozens of drivers were disqualified, and dozens of vehicles were disabled and taken off the road.
