A Barbados-flagged, UK-owned cargo ship has been attacked by a drone off the coast of Yemen in the Red Sea. The ship was damaged in an attack that occurred 57 km west of Hodeidah, a Yemeni port city controlled by the Houthis. Iran's supreme leader called on Muslim nations to cut economic ties with Israel, saying it would be "a decisive blow" to the Jewish state. Meanwhile, Russia accused Biden of carrying out strikes in Iraq and Syria to boost his image as the presidential election campaign "is heating up". US President Joe Biden has said he would veto a standalone bill backed by the US House Republicans that would provide aid to Israel.
