What is behind the recent ISIS attacks on the Iranian militias in eastern Syria?

It seems that the attacks are among the more regular attacks carried out by the organization against the forces of the regime and the militias loyal to them, but why these attacks? What is the purpose of ISIS? FOLLOW THE MONEY!

Sources said that there is a secret agreement between ISIS and  Iranian militias, according to which the organization refrains from attacking the patrols of the Iranian militias and allows them to transfer drug shipments to Palmyra, Homs and the countryside of Damascus in exchange for the payment of large sums of money.

When the militias fail to pay the royalties imposed by ISIS, the organization begins to put pressure on them by attacking its patrols and cars, killing and injuring its fighters, and forces these militias to surrender to it and pay the royalties agreed upon between them.
