Senior Iranian military officials currently deployed across Lebanon are reportedly acting as the main operational link between Tehran and Hezbollah, helping direct the terrorist organization during its confrontation with Israel.
According to the report, the Iranian officers are not merely serving as advisers. They are involved in Hezbollah’s command structure and decision-making, while providing Tehran with regular assessments of the organization’s condition, battlefield needs and ability to continue fighting.
Their role is also to deepen Iran’s direct involvement in Lebanon. They are reportedly working to secure additional funding, military equipment, weapons and training from Tehran in an effort to rebuild Hezbollah and offset both Israeli military pressure and attempts by the Lebanese government to restrict the organization.
The Iranian officials may also have influenced Tehran’s decision to attack Israel directly following the Israeli strike in Dahiyeh.
