Security forces have confiscated nearly $8.5 million since the war began, targeting illegal financial networks across the region
Israeli security forces seized nearly $2 million (7 million shekels) in terror funds and arrested 30 wanted suspects during raids on currency exchange businesses and their owners across Judea and Samaria, the Israel Defense Forces announced.
As part of an operation to confiscate terror funds, IDF soldiers, together with Israel Border Police from the Judea and Samaria region, the Civil Administration, the Israel Police's Samaria and Judea District, and the ISA operated throughout Judea and Samaria, guided by intelligence from the Central Command and the ISA.
Many of the targeted operations had previously been classified as illegal associations by IDF Central Command chief Maj. Gen. Avi Bluth and Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz, according to the IDF.
