WATCH: Americans attend Khamenei funeral to denounce US
Three American activists traveled to Tehran for Ali Khamenei’s funeral and used the occasion to attack the United States while defending Iran.
American Communist Party official Christopher Helali attended the July 4 funeral and declared that he had come to “defend Iran.”
Jackson Hinkle accused the United States of “waging a war against God,” while Calla Walsh claimed that America had been humiliated in its confrontation with Iran.
Their appearance at the funeral of Iran’s former supreme leader came on America’s 250th Independence Day, highlighting the spectacle of US citizens standing in Tehran and denouncing their own country before the Iranian regime.
