ISIS announces a new leader for the terrorist organization

ISIS is releasing an official 12-minute audiotape, in which it officially acknowledges for the first time that the leader of the previous organization, Abu Ibrahim Al-Qarashi, has died. The tape said ISIS spokesman Abu Hamza al-Majajer was also killed.

The new leader is called Abu Al-Hassan Al-Hashemi Al-Quraishi. They said they can’t reveal the true identity of the new leader but urged followers to pledge allegiance to the new leader.
