A few initial notes on the remarks by Dr. Yuval Steinitz, chairman of Rafael, the main integrator of Israel’s interception systems using the laser fund:

Steinitz is correct: it is technically feasible to build a laser array that would effectively block the country’s skies from attacks by hostile parties, primarily Iran.

Intercepting all rockets and missiles with missile-on-missile systems is unaffordable for Israel and the United States at scale.
