Playing the bluff: Hamas Gaza throws its strongest card onto the betting table: “the fate of all the hostages and bodies will be like Ron Arad!”
NEWSRAEL: Ron Arad was a pilot downed in the first Lebanon war in 1986. He was never returned to Israel, and his fate is still unknown.
Hamas warned Israel of a 'hard war of attrition' and said some captives were moved to homes and tents across the strip.
Hamas stated that Israeli prisoners “are dispersed in different neighborhoods inside Gaza.” The group declared it would not care about their lives “as long as Netanyahu decided to kill them,” adding that the start and expansion of what it called this criminal operation means Israel would not receive even a single captive, alive or dead, and “their fate will be the same as Ron Arad,” the statement said. Media reports said Hamas had moved several hostages into houses and tents across Gaza amid Israel’s ground operations.
