BBC Director-General Tim Davie and Head of News Barbara Torrance have resigned following the release of damning findings from an independent review accusing the broadcaster of systemic bias.
The report, leaked to The Telegraph, cited repeated failures to address skewed coverage, including on President Donald Trump and the Gaza war, saying management “repeatedly refused to acknowledge there was a problem.”
The resignations mark a major shake-up in Britain’s public broadcaster, long criticized for its political slant.
