Contrary to the victory messages that Russian propaganda has excelled in so far, many netizens, especially Russian nationalist and military bloggers, discovered to their astonishment a defeatist clip published on one of the Russian propaganda channels on Telegram.
The channel, called Pool №3 (over 346 thousand followers) and at a particularly sensitive time: on a national holiday marking Russian Army Day starting on 2/23, when the Russian army suffers from a severe shortage of equipment, due to the lack of soldiers, disabled and wounded soldiers are being sent into battle, while ammunition is being transported with the help of donkeys and horses - a situation that raises questions in Russia: "For what purpose?"
And here, in a clip featuring Russian actors, those who aspire to take over Ukraine and use a nuclear bomb are presented as “scoundrel generals,” while the real heroes on the front lines are actually striving for an agreement to end the fighting and return to their loved ones.
In an investigation devoted to the subject by blogger Michael Nike, Russian bloggers were described as having begun to attack the clip, thinking that it was all part of Ukrainian psychological warfare.
