WATCH: The Lebanese army has confiscated weapons from Palestinian Fatah fighters
The Lebanese army has started collecting weapons from Palestinian Fatah fighters at Rashidieh camp, as part of a wider disarmament initiative that began last week in Beirut.
Weapons from the southern camps will be surrendered later.
This marks the largest weapons collection operation since the 1975–1990 civil war, spanning areas beyond the Litani River.
