Speculation is growing over the fate of Iran’s Quds Force commander, Ismail Qaani, after he disappeared from public view during the Israel-Iran war, with rumors suggesting possible arrest, execution, or even suspicions of collaboration with Israel.
One of the most persistent unanswered questions since the outbreak of the Israel-Iran war concerns the fate of Ismail Qaani, commander of Iran’s elite Quds Force. Qaani has largely vanished from the public eye while online rumors continue circulating that he may have secretly worked as a spy for Israel.
Speculation intensified after reports claimed he survived an assassination attempt targeting Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, at the beginning of the war, along with several senior aides.
According to a report published today by the British newspaper The Telegraph, various theories circulating across the Middle East suggest that Qaani may have been placed under house arrest — or even executed — over suspicions that he assisted Israel.
