The leaders are expected to focus on US-Iran negotiations, with Israel insisting missile limits and an end to Iran’s proxy support be part of any deal.
The Prime Minister’s Office announced that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to meet with US President Donald Trump this coming Wednesday in Washington.
According to the statement, the talks will focus primarily on the negotiations the United States is currently conducting with Iran. Netanyahu is expected to stress that any agreement must include clear limitations on Iran’s ballistic missile program and a complete halt to Tehran’s support for its regional proxy network.
Overnight, President Trump commented on the talks that began on Friday in Oman, describing them as “very good.” However, he also warned that if no agreement is reached, “the consequences will be very severe,” signaling that military and economic pressure remains firmly on the table.
