Amid reports from American intelligence sources suggesting that the IDF is stepping up its preparations for a possible strike in Iran, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards have declared they are "with their finger on the trigger" and ready to deliver a response beyond all imagination to any hostile action.
According to U.S. intelligence sources, Israel is conducting aerial maneuvers and transferring munitions, indicating advanced preparations for a military operation targeting Iran’s nuclear facilities. These preparations are taking place in parallel to U.S.-Iran nuclear negotiations, which have hit major stumbling blocks, particularly over Iran’s uranium enrichment.
In response, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards issued a statement declaring they are “ready to respond harshly to any hostile action that goes beyond imagination.” IRGC spokesperson Ali Mohammad Naini added that “they try to scare us with war, but they miscalculate—unaware of the massive popular and military support the Islamic Republic can rally in wartime.”
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned that the United States would bear responsibility for any Israeli strike on Iran’s nuclear infrastructure. He stressed that Iran would take "special measures" to protect its sites, including possibly suspending cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) or transferring enriched uranium to undisclosed locations.
The current escalation follows Israeli strikes in October 2024 that inflicted major damage on Iranian military and nuclear infrastructure. Now, as Washington resumes talks with Tehran, Israel fears a deal that won’t dismantle Iran’s nuclear capabilities and is intensifying preparations for an independent military operation.
The international community is watching developments closely, as any military action could spark widespread regional escalation and threaten Middle East stability.
