A Palestinian Islamic scholar in Chicago declares Muslim superiority and rejects coexistence with other religions.
Palestinian Islamic scholar Mohammad Nusairat delivered a sermon in Chicago in which he openly rejected the concept of coexistence with other faiths and societies. In the address, Nusairat stated that Muslims “did not come here to coexist,” asserting that they are “superior to everyone else” and will not accept being surpassed by others.
He further claimed that no one is above Muslims and that if followers of other religions wish to live alongside them, they must “worship Allah.” The remarks frame Islam not merely as a faith practiced within a pluralistic society, but as a dominant system to which others must ultimately submit.
The sermon reflects an exclusivist worldview that stands in direct opposition to the principles of religious freedom and equal citizenship that underpin American society. Rather than promoting integration or mutual respect, the message emphasizes supremacy and conditional tolerance based on religious submission.
