Palestinians report this evening that Abu Abdullah Hamdan, a commander in the military wing of Hamas, was killed during clashes between Hamas militants and members of the Al-Majida clan in the Muwasi area of Khan Yunis.

It is unclear from the reports whether he was killed by fire from the clan members or from an Israeli attack.

According to the reports, Hamdan was the military intelligence commander in the Khan Yunis brigade of Hamas, and a senior figure in the Nukhba forces.
