The employees of the Palestinian Authority received a partial salary - how much did it cost the taxpayers in the European Union?
The Palestinian Authority announced last week that it paid its officials and members of its security forces a partial salary for the month of July. According to the authority, 70% of the salary was paid while those with a salary of up to NIS 3000 per month were paid in full.
It turns out that the one who helped pay last month's salaries is the European Union. According to an announcement from the weekend, Brussels announced that it transferred 43 million euros to the Authority for the payment of salaries, as part of the emergency aid it is transferring to Ramallah.
On that occasion, the European Union called on Israel to release the tax money it collects for the Palestinians.
NEWSRAEL: Once the PA stops paying terrorists their stipend, they will be able to pay salaries by themselves. In this way, Europe encourages and pays for terrorism against Israel!
