Disturbance in Jerusalem – So far, 12 suspects have been arrested for disturbing public order, threats, and assaulting a citizen and police officers.
Even at this time, the police, with the assistance of Border Guard soldiers, continue operations to restore and maintain public order on Gaza Street in Jerusalem and nearby streets.
Over the past few hours, dozens of protest participants have violated public order at the scene, including by lighting a fire in the middle of the road and posing a real risk to other protest participants, and therefore the police used fire extinguishers to put out the fire before any casualties were caused.
In addition, the rioters refused to obey the police's orders after a police officer announced to them that this was a disturbance and that they should leave the scene, and therefore the police acted to drive them up Gaza Street. So far, the police have arrested 12 suspects for disturbing public order, threats, and assaulting a citizen and police officers.
It should be noted that, contrary to various publications, during the day the police, through the Jerusalem Traffic Division, acted against those vehicles that were left on transportation routes in violation of the law - both by registering a traffic report and by towing a large number of these vehicles.
