IDF forces under the Southern Command, guided by intelligence from the Shin Bet and Military Intelligence Directorate, continue to expand operations across Gaza targeting Hamas' military capabilities.
On Tuesday, the Israeli Air Force struck a weapons manufacturing facility in the Al-Furqan area, used by Hamas to produce arms utilized in terror attacks during the war. Steps were taken before the strike to minimize civilian harm, including evacuations and precision-guided munitions based on real-time aerial surveillance and intelligence.
Ground operations have intensified as well. Division 162 continues fighting in northern Gaza, where the IDF’s 215th Fire Brigade destroyed a mortar launcher that had targeted Israeli troops. In Daraj Tuffah, the 401st Brigade Combat Team identified around ten terrorists, who were eliminated in an airstrike.
