Israeli security forces have arrested Shadi Jumaa, a terrorist involved in the 2007 shooting murder of Ido Zoldan near the village of Funduq in Samaria.
According to the report, Jumaa was arrested in the heart of Qalqilya immediately after completing 19 years in a Palestinian Authority prison. The operation was carried out by the IDF, Shin Bet and the Gideonim 33 unit, under the command of the Ephraim Brigade.
The footage shows undercover forces tracking the terrorist’s vehicle in civilian clothing, while the operation was monitored from both the air and the ground. Once the operational signal was given, the fighters moved in quickly, arrested him and prevented him from escaping after his release.
Zoldan was murdered in November 2007 by three Palestinian policemen who opened fire at him as he drove near Funduq. Two of Jumaa’s partners in the attack were released from Israeli prison as part of the latest hostage deal with the Hamas terrorist organization.
