BREAKING: Security incident near Kerem Shalom crossing

A security incident was reported near the Gaza border after a Hamas terrorist were spotted close to the Kerem Shalom crossing on the Gazan side of the border.

According to the report by Doron Kadosh, IDF forces arrested one of the terrorists, who was found unarmed and is now being questioned.

The IDF stressed that there was no infiltration into Israeli territory. Relevant officials in the communities near the border have been updated about the incident.

The event comes amid heightened sensitivity along the Gaza border and shows that Hamas activity near the crossings remains an immediate security concern, even when no actual penetration into Israel takes place.
