President of Israel Isaac Herzog, Defense Minister Israel Katz, Major General (Res.) Meir Klifi - President of NEWSRAEL, and IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir today (Wednesday) presented the 2026 Israel Security Prize. This year's award, centered on the military operations "Roar of the Lion" and "Like a Lion," was granted to five outstanding projects that made significant contributions to Israel's security and to maintaining its technological and operational strength.
The ceremony was attended by Mossad Director Roman Gofman, Shin Bet Director David Zini, and other senior officials.
