Lapid was proud of the historic agreement, the members of the coalition were less enthusiastic

The closeness of the election turned the agreement into a political event.

Ministers in the cabinet and also in Lapid's party admitted that the reason for the haste to sign the agreement is one: fear of an immediate war with Lebanon.

Nasrallah threatened that if Israel withdraws before an agreement, the front will open from the north.

Under such a direct threat and the defense establishment's recommendation to avoid it, the ministers supported the outcome of the agreement even if it was possible to achieve something better than what was signed.

It was said on the news that Israel just turned over their gas production to Hezbollah I don’t see any reason to cheer that achievement. Like La Jun said it’s treason!!!!!
