In response to violations by the terrorist organization Hezbollah: The IDF attacked an underground site used to store weapons of the terrorist organization Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Following the IDF attacks earlier yesterday, in which weapons storage shafts were attacked in southern Lebanon, the IDF completed another attack during the day, in which an underground site used to store weapons of the terrorist organization Hezbollah in Lebanon was attacked.
The underground site that the IDF attacked was attacked about a week ago, after the IDF alerted the Lebanese army to the terrorist activity taking place there.
The Lebanese army visited the site, but the terrorist infrastructure was not fully dismantled. Therefore, the IDF attacked the site once again today.
Before the attack, many steps were taken to reduce the chance of harm to civilians, including advance warnings to the population in the area.
The activity of the terrorist organization Hezbollah at these sites constitutes a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon and a threat to the State of Israel.
The IDF will continue to act to eliminate any threat to the State of Israel.
