Leftists in the Labour party find it easier to pander to its Muslim base than it does to deal with stabbings, sexual assaults and thefts.

In Iran, meanwhile, women risk years in prison or even their lives as they assert the right to live without hijab.

If a Muslim woman is arrested then a mug shot must be taken without the hijab as a way to identify her. The same for passport and all ID photos. .
