The 47% of Gaza that Israel has not taken over yet will not be an oasis of Arab calm under the leadership of a UN-connected peacekeeping force that serves as a barrier between the two warring sides. 

There is no worse idea than this for a future of calm out of Gaza. Why? Many reasons. It has never worked before nor will it work now in the Middle East.
