The Venezuelan Armed Forces are conducting the “Costa Independencia 200” military exercises in regions along the Caribbean coastline.

During the drills in Carabobo, soldiers were observed carrying Russian-made 9K338 Igla-S (SA-24) portable surface-to-air missile systems.

The equipment suggests an emphasis on strengthening short-range air defense capabilities as part of the training activities.

The same as the readiness of Saddam’s military forces in 2003 when the US forces reached Baghdad and the presidential palace in less than 10 days.I was there in Baghdad.
