Poll: Gantz party leads Likud by one; neither bloc could form coalition

Back to a stalemate? Gantz bloc (according to the last Bennett-Lapid government) leads the LIkud bloc 59-56 with 5 Arab seats in opposition to any government.

While Gantz still maintains a 28-27 lead over the Likud, his numbers have dropped a bit.

One surprises so far:

Liberman, the Russian based party receives in this poll 11 mandates, over the 6 he received in the current Knesset.

BIG Surprises?

Both "left-wing" parties - The Labor Party and "Meretz" don't make it into the Knesset

I appreciate the Israeli political insights. I have been back in the U.S. since 1984, and I have paid more attention to American politics. So, I really need to relearn what is going on in Israel.

We are at war right now and it is inappropriate to even consider elections. And is it not the norm to complete a 4 year term for any administration?
