With no deal in sight there is a very real possibility that Israel, with US backing will attack Iran’s nuclear installations.

Speaking at the United Hatzalah Gala in New York City, Steve Witkoff, the lead negotiator in talks with the Islamic Republic stated: “Iran must never be permitted to enrich uranium or develop any nuclear capabilities.”

“A nuclear Iran represents an existential threat to Israel, as does an Iran with a large amount of missiles; this is as big of a threat as the nuclear one. This is an existential threat to the US, the free world, and the entire GCC. We must stand resolute and united against this danger and ensure that Iran never obtains the means to achieve its deadly ambitions, no matter what the cost,” he added.

According both CBS and NBC, Israel has now completed preparations to strike Iran alone. Regional players and the USA believe this may happen at any moment as the US has now bolstered defenses and shifted anti-drone missiles to their Middle Eastern bases. As I wrote in my previous article, Trump’s insistence to Bibi not to attack Iran was only about timing as the US had to prep its bases in region for a counter attack.

There is a window of time that Israel has to attack Iran with minimal threat in its jets. With no air defense systems left, Iran can be hit hard without direct American involvement. If Iran builds back its air defenses, then Israel would need America to go in with it. Essentially, the time is now.

After today’s deadline passes, the Middle East and the region enters a period of heightened possibility of direct war between Israel and Iran and ultimately Iran and America’s Sunni allies. Israel’s potential strike, if carried out also proves that the Jewish State has had the capabilities the entire time to go it alone - a clear pushback on the America Only crowd headed by Tucker Carlson that it is the US who was being dragged into “Israel’s War”.
