A Texas-based Shiite scholar commemorated Iranian and terror leaders as “martyrs” during a ceremony in Houston.
Houston Shiite scholar Faheem Abdulghani commemorated Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, and Hamas leaders Ismail Haniyeh and Yahya Sinwar during a Shiite ceremony at Masjid Al-Rasul in Houston.
Abdulghani described them as “martyrs” who were killed in attempts to extinguish “the light of Truth.” He also commemorated Malcolm X as “our own martyr,” linking the figures together during the religious ceremony.
Abdulghani is the deputy resident scholar of Masjid Al-Rasul in Houston and the brother of Dearborn Islamic scholar Usama Abdulghani of the Hadi Institute.
