Hussain Abdul-Hussain: The words Palestinian and policy are an oxymoron

Gulf Arabs are basing their economies on trade and not land. Can the Palestinians adopt this policy?

If Palestinians and their North American friends understand the Gulf policy, they will understand why UAE, and now Saudi Arabia, do not see land and sovereignty as tools of wealth or national interests, and instead seek bilateral trade/services economy, which enhances non-oil sectors.

Palestinian interests would be best served if they endorse a similar policy and political economic model, but the words Palestinian and policy are an oxymoron. Instead, most Palestinians love to write poetry about the olive trees that their grandparents planted somewhere in the middle of nowhere.

The word Palestinian is from the Hebrew palash means invaders. They came from Greece and landed around Gaza they assimilated into Hebrew society Todays Palestinians have nothing to do with them
