President Donald Trump released footage showing the US military strike that killed Héctor Rusthenford Guerrero Flores, better known as “Niño Guerrero,” the notorious leader of the Tren de Aragua narco-terrorist organization.
The US and Venezuelan authorities confirmed that Héctor Rusthenford Guerrero Flores, known as Niño Guerrero, was killed in a coordinated US strike. The available reporting identifies the operation as a US Southern Command strike, but does not establish that it was specifically carried out by the US Air Force.
Trump said the lethal operation was carried out by US Southern Command and coordinated closely with Venezuelan authorities. The footage shows an aerial view of a compound moments before it is struck and engulfed by a powerful explosion.
Niño Guerrero was the founder and leader of Tren de Aragua, a Venezuelan criminal organization that expanded its operations across Latin America, the United States and Europe. The terrorist organization has been linked to murder, extortion, drug trafficking, human trafficking and other violent crimes.
