IDF Spokesman: The Italian Chief of Staff visits Israel [VIDEO]

The Chief of Staff (Chief of the Defense Staff) of Italy, Admiral Giuseppe Cabo Dragona, arrived this week (Tuesday) for a visit to Israel as the official guest of the Chief of Staff, Major General Herzi Halevi.

According to the statement of the IDF spokesman, the Chiefs of Staff discussed the challenges in the region, and the cooperation between the armies.

During the visit, the Italian Chief of Staff heard strategic and security reviews from IDF officers, with an emphasis on the situation in the northern sector and the recent operational events.

In addition, the guest met with the Deputy Chief of Staff, Major General Amir Baram and other senior commanders.
