The IDF spokesman announces that today, July 20, 2024, Air Force planes attacked targets of the Houthi terrorist regime in Yemen. All of our squadron returned safely.
The attack was carried out in response to the terrorist attacks of the Houthis against Israel in recent months, in which they launched hundreds of aerial threats, one of which caused the death of the Israeli citizen, Yevgeni Perder Zikarno, and the injury of several other civilians.
The Air Force planes went on an operational strike at a distance of over 1,800 km and attacked targets in the Hodeidah port area in Yemen.
The Hodeidah port area serves as a supply route for the transfer of Iranian weapons from Iran to the Houthi terrorist regime and is a significant economic source for it.
