A Turkish analysis says Israel dominated the skies, neutralizing over 70 Iranian air-defense batteries, but did not eliminate Iran’s nuclear program.
Five months after the end of the June campaign, Turkey’s GZT channel (“Gazete 10/10”) published a comprehensive video investigation analyzing the “12-Day War” between Israel and Iran, fought from June 13–24, 2025.
The presenter, Ural Toga, offers a nuanced assessment: the IDF demonstrated overwhelming military superiority, yet concluded the round with limited strategic gains and a significant economic and political cost.
According to the Turkish analysis, Israel’s military achievement was clear and dramatic. “Israel’s air superiority was unquestionable. More than 70 Iranian air-defense batteries were silenced, while not a single Israeli fighter jet was lost,” the report states. Precision strikes, intelligence dominance, and freedom of action in Iranian airspace are all highlighted as defining features of the campaign.
