During an operational activity by the Paratroopers reconnaissance unit in the area of the Menashe Brigade, two terrorists were eliminated in separate incidents in northern Samaria after carrying out direct attacks against IDF forces.
In the first incident, in the area of Kabatiya, a terrorist threw a brick at IDF troops operating in the area. The soldiers identified the threat, responded with live fire, and eliminated the attacker.
In a separate incident in the area of Silat al-Harithiya, another terrorist threw an explosive device at the forces during an operational mission. The troops reacted quickly, opened fire, and eliminated the terrorist. No IDF casualties were reported in either incident.
