We came to Israel to be closer to Matan’s family who lives in the north and have been spending a lot of time with them. Our twins will be entering kitah bet [second grade] and can’t wait to make friends! Matan is a pluralistic rabbi and I'm a cantor. Both of us have worked a great deal in the educational field as well. We are hoping to find meaningful work that will allow us to share our expertise.

 

The past year and a half have taught us that we really need to think out-of-the-box. In addition to work that we hope to find here as we integrate into Israeli society, Matan and I plan on offering remote b’nai mitzvah lessons and hope to celebrate with families here in Israel! Our entire lives, we have learned about Jewish history, holidays, culture…but now we are living in 'the room where it happens' and could not be more blessed.
