Arab sources report that the Houthis launched a major attack in the Hays area, south of Hodeidah, targeting positions held by forces loyal to Yemen’s internationally recognized government.

The assault reportedly included suicide terrorists and rocket fire, triggering intense clashes throughout the area.

The Yemeni government acknowledged that 14 of its soldiers were killed in the fighting. Arab sources claimed that at least 50 Houthi terrorists were also killed.
