WATCH: A tunnel route used to hold hostages was destroyed

Forces from the 188th Brigade and the Yahalom Unit destroyed four underground tunnel routes in the Gaza Strip.

Forces of the 188th Brigade Combat Team under the command of the Gaza Division (143) are operating in the southern Gaza Strip, east of the Yellow Line, to clear the area of ​​terrorist infrastructure.

During the operation, the forces, in cooperation with the Yahalam unit, destroyed four underground tunnels with a total length of approximately four kilometers.

One of the tunnels was part of a group of tunnels that were used as infrastructure for holding hostages.

In addition, sleeping quarters were located in the tunnels that were used by the senior echelons of Hamas's Khan Yunis Brigade.
