Elias Rodriguez, the man accused of fatally shooting two Israeli Embassy staffers outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C., has been indicted on federal hate crime charges, U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro announced.
Pirro unsealed a nine-count federal indictment against Rodriguez, who is alleged to have traveled halfway across the country with the intent to carry out a targeted antisemitic attack. The victims, Sarah Milgram, a cultural attaché to the Israeli Embassy, and Yaron Lischinsky, a security liaison, were attending a private event hosted by the museum when they were ambushed and murdered.
