Jerusalem, 3 May, 2023 (TPS) -- The Department for Encouraging Parental Employment at the Ministry of Labor is working to encourage greater employment among Israeli Arabs who are parents. To do so it is working on a program to assist them with daycare for young children.
The department said it is engaged in the process of identifying the barriers and understanding the considerations and preferences of parents in Arab society in choosing an educational framework for preschoolers.
As part of this move, 14 localities in the Arab society were selected for professional considerations related to the research that accompanies the move.
Parents who meet the established criteria and choose to participate in this process, which includes filling out questionnaires and transferring information, will be entitled to support fees in the maximum amount of 2,350 Shekels ($653).
