Michigan Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed said he is “coming for” a political system that takes money from AIPAC, while podcast host Mahmoud Ansari called Israel a corrupt, genocidal society.
Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, who is running for the Democratic nomination for US Senate in Michigan, said in a June 24 interview on the Ansari Podcast that the Democratic establishment fears he could win because he is “coming for the system.”
El-Sayed said that system is built on taking money from special interest groups like AIPAC, selling “half-truths” to the public, and serving “two masters.” He said he uses the term “foreign government” interchangeably with Israel and called Israel the “most egregious” example.
Podcast host Mahmoud Ansari pushed the attack further, claiming that Israel is corrupt in its society, education system, and government institutions, and accusing it of genocidal intent.
